The first blog use of CyclingChaos package (work in progress) was for the Australian World Tour races. Australia holds two World Tour races (the highest division of cycling), the Tour Down Under (stage race) and the Cadel Evans Road Race (one day) races.
Because it is so far away from Europe (the base of almost every professional cyclist), the majority of racers do both races. So my first blog (and blog series) is about using analytics to see what the results would be like if it was one collective race.
