#BigDataBowl 2022
My #BigDataBowl entry for 2022 is all about film studies. Film Review is the main way that NFL teams analyse their performance, scout the opposition and work on their own game. The biggest limitation to this is the camera angles, but I have started solving that with "PlayerTV".
YouTube Presentation
The Finalists for the #BigDataBowl get to present a condensed presentation to the judges, however I feel that the best approach would be to present the project completely and to look at the project as a whole.
Kaggle Submission
The projects get submitted to Kaggle. Kaggle is a data science competition host website. Within this submission, we had to introduce, showcase the project, talk about future ideas and more within a 2,000 word limit.
I split my project into two notebooks due to the word limit, I thought it was important to talk about different ideas that I think my project could be used in the future and to explain my coding in detail. You can view the submission here: https://www.kaggle.com/zacrogersuk/playertv-by-zacrogers-excluding-appendix.
Twitter Posting
This project is not only designed to win the prizemoney, but also to present your talents to a wider audience. The majority of people do this by posting their submission on Twitter. I got amazing feedback on Twitter receiving the most likes (600+) and retweets (100+) for my thread I wrote. You can view the Twitter posting here: https://twitter.com/TheRogersUK/.
